Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.”
— It’s absolutely true. Perhaps, I should rephrase each of my sentence everytime when I’m gonna delay something. Cause if the phrases dont sits well, thats the point. Definitely get it.
i’m just glad..really glad
It’s really quite tough to not miss something you spent 4-6 years of your life doing. There really hasn’t been anything that could compete with it. There is nothing like skating, the feel of the ice, nothing like the friendships you’ve gained & love, nothing like the hours spent training. The 6 days of skating. The 18 hours a week. The hard work both on and off the ice. Nothing like the rush. I couldn’t miss something more. and i wish i could do it again..
